In October 1987, Apostle Robert Turner Sr. and Prophetess Janice Turner answered a calling to preach the Gospel, strengthen families, and awaken a city to the power of Jesus Christ. From that first gathering, New Birth Ministries was set apart as a birthing center — a place where purpose, prayer, praise, and power are cultivated in every believer.
Their unwavering faith, visionary leadership, and devotion to God’s people established a ministry that has now shepherded the Shoals for -18 years. Marriages restored. Generations reconciled. Leaders raised. A city marked by the goodness of God — one life at a time.
Today, the mantle they carried continues to shape every service, every ministry, and every soul that walks through our doors. Their legacy is not written in stone — it is written in changed lives.
