For generations, New Birth Ministries has been built upon biblical truth, passionate worship, servant leadership, and transformational ministry — from the foundation established by Apostle Robert Turner Sr. and Prophetess Janice Turner to the vision carried forward by Pastor Robert Turner Jr. Our mission remains the same: leading people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

New Birth Ministries is a Christ-centered church where people encounter the living God, discover the purpose written on their lives, grow spiritually through the Word, and become family in the truest sense. For -18 years we’ve believed the same simple thing — that when God births something in a life, everything changes.
Established October 1987 · Celebrating -18 Years of Ministry. A nondenominational church in the heart of the Shoals — we exist to reach the lost, disciple the found, and establish the next generation in the calling God has placed on them.

When and where do you meet?
We gather at 225 S Spurr St, Florence, AL 35630. Sunday worship is at 9:30 AM (with 'Let's Talk About It Podcast' live at 9:15 AM). Midweek Bible study is Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
What can I expect on my first visit?
A warm welcome, presence-driven worship, and the Word taught with clarity. Come as you are — jeans or Sunday best, either is home.
Do you have ministries for kids and teens?
Yes. Our Children's Church and Youth Ministry are two of our most-loved departments, built to help the next generation encounter God in a real way.
