Getting Started
Do I need an account to attend New Birth?+
No. Anyone is welcome. An account unlocks personal features — prayer, giving history, family, ministry — but attendance is always open.
Is My New Birth free?+
Yes. Every part of My New Birth is free for members, guests, and the community.
What should I wear?+
Come as you are — most people dress casually. There is no dress code. Come comfortable and expect to be welcomed.
Is there parking?+
Yes — free on-site parking at 225 S Spurr St, Florence, AL 35630. First-time guests can park anywhere and greeters will help you find your way in.
Are children welcome?+
Absolutely. A safe, joyful Kids Check-In is available during Sunday Worship, and children are welcome at every gathering.
My New Birth
Why do parts of my portal look empty at first?+
Some sections are personal to you — as you engage (join a ministry, submit prayer, give, RSVP) those pages fill with your own information. Nothing here is sample data pretending to be yours.
Can I use My New Birth on my phone?+
Yes. It works on any modern browser and installs as an app on iOS and Android.
Ministry Guides
How do I join a ministry?+
Visit Discover Ministries, choose one that resonates, and express interest. A leader will follow up.
Prayer
Who can see my prayer requests?+
Only the prayer scope you choose. Confidential requests are visible only to pastors.
How long does it take to receive a response?+
Our care team reviews requests daily. If you asked for a follow-up we typically reach out within 24–48 hours.
Can I submit anonymously?+
Yes. When submitting, choose the anonymous option — your identity is hidden from everyone except the pastor on call.
Giving & Tithing
Are my gifts tax-deductible?+
Yes. New Birth Ministries is a 501(c)(3) organization.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Cash App ($newbirth6789) is our current online option. We also accept in-person cash, check, and mailed gifts.
How do I get my annual statement?+
Open Generosity → Statements. Download or email a copy.
Family & Household
Do I have to have a spouse to use Family?+
No. Family starts with My Household — you can add anyone you consider family.
Account & Privacy
How do I update my profile?+
Sign in and open Account → Profile. Edit your name, contact info, photo, and household details anytime.
How do I change my password?+
Open Account → Change password. If you're locked out, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen.
How do I delete my account?+
Contact our office and we'll walk you through it.
